My hand painted silk scarf needs to be "set" (the dyes) ..Is this the same as steam cleaning at a cleaners? - silk scarf painting

I have a beautiful sound and if I know how to steam at home, I'm a little afraid to spoil with water stains. Then the same result is obtained in a local cleaning with steam cleaning?

I seriously doubt that would be the same - it takes several hours to steam in all the colors of silk. You can try the specifications for fixing dyes in particular that you are the owner or manager (and not only use an employee) to the cleaners and see if they think they can. You can even continue the practice, so that they can only enjoy.
I assume you watched the news on the site of the Dharma Trading Co. on the dyeing of silk and put in steam.
